La Oliva Ipad cook app concept to look for recipes, using four different parameters, ingredient, category, time and diet. My participation in the project included layout, visual design, and icon design.

Personas
User personas were identified according to cooking knowledge and interested.
The user classification helped design visual and information.
Amateur user: little practical knowledge
Intermediate user: intermediate practical knowledge
Expert user: advanced practical knowledge.
Search by ingredient
The user to typed in the number of ingredients the user wants and also to search scanning a bar product code.
Top menu bar
The top menu bar showed ingredients, category, time or diet has selected. The parameters can be modified at any time.
Search by time
The user could select the desired time. All the recipes will automatically change according to the selected parameter.
Search by diet
Allowed the user to select a specific food diet, such as no sugar, vegan, vegetarian...
The recipe visualization
Recipe could be prepared and visualized by the user in three different ways; video, step by step photos and diagram
Video Mode: allows the user to watch a simple video, that helps the user watch it step to complete the recipe.
The screen showed ingredient and utensils list, as well as recipe description, cost, difficulty and special diet.
Step by steps photos
Showed the user a picture with a description of the chosen step.
Diagram mode
The diagram showed a simple but effective info-graphic with ingredients and steps to prepare each recipe.
