Papakim is a temporary restaurant in Marseille that offers typical Japanese cuisine in a relaxed urban setting. For its reopening, we were asked to create a pop and offbeat communication, full of humour and mischief.
Just like the cuisine offered by the restaurant, simple, striking and colourful, the visual elements add up and combine across all formats.
Between tradition and pop culture, old Japanese photographs are diverted. Taken out of their context, they are integrated into a smiling and offbeat communication where hand illustrations and photographic collages are mixed.
