However, according to a survey i did,

- 84.2% of the people i surveyed are not aware that there is a Peranakan Street that existed in Orchard Road
- 88.5% of the peple i surveyed do not know much about Peranakan Culture.

Problem: Many do not know that Peranakan Street existed in Orchard.

Brief: Making use of Public space to organizing a event to allow people to learn more about the Peranakan heritage and at the same time, bringing people to Emerald Hill(peranakan street) to take a look there.

Objective: Allowing people to know the existence of Peranakan Street in Orchard, and get the to learn and understand more about the heritage through a fun way so it will not be too boring.

Client: National Heritage Board

I need to come out with 3 deliverables and 1 showreel.

A series of Kueh Posters will be placed all around different areas leading towards Emerald Hill. There are history about the Kuehs written behind the poster so people can read more information about it. At the bottom of the description, there is a QR code to scan so people who are interested are able to download the app(2nd deliverable). The Environmental Graphic Posters are roughly about 1.5m tall.

Other Kuehs design to be included in the series to be placed along Orchard Road

After selecting to start quiz, the quiz will ask questions about the Kuehs, and people will have to answer it. There are total of 5 questions to answer. However if you do not know the answer to the quiz, you can click for the hint, which tells you to go to Orchard Road to find the specific kueh(as u may see in the quiz) to look for answers at the back of the poster(1st deliverable)

If you score 4 and above, you will be awarded a spin ticket

If you score 3 and below, you will have to re-try the quiz again.

After clicking "Go to Spin", you will be at the spin wheel page, when you click the "SPIN" button to spin the wheel.

The image on the right is showing how it would look like after you have been awarded with a reward.

After clicking "Go to Rewards", you will be at the reward page where you can redeem the reward coupon at Bengawan Solo after clicking the "Use Now" button.

After clicking the "Use Now" button, it will show you all the Terms and Conditions before redeeming

After clicking "Redeem Now", the merchant will have to key in their 4 digit Merchant Staff Code.

Other than this functions, there is also a "Profile" page and "Eats" page where it will be showing you a list of where to find Peranakan Food in Singapore, which you can also filter to the nearest location to find Peranakan Food, and even can sort by pricing too.

All of this will be promoted on National Heritage Board's Instagram page, where it will provide hints to where the location of the kuehs are at. 

After clicking on one of the post, a gif about the unique kueh will be shown, and the caption will show the hints of the kueh location in Orchard, so people who are interested find it will have to go to Orchard to look for the kueh poster as the specific location of where the poster is at will not be shown.

By doing so, it is engaging the user as they get to have fun to walk around to find the answers.

This is a series of Instagram Story. As this is a sponsored post, people who are not following their Instagram page will still be able to see the post. This Instagram Story is for people to be able to download the app when they swipe up.

All 3 deliverables are related as it requires one to get answer from the other, which makes everything connected and it will be fun for people to learn about the Peranakan Culture through their food.
