In the mind of another
2019
An abandoned house, that we took over with our coursemates.
As I was wandering around the house - looking for a place to paint. I saw a pair of pigeons, sitting on a broken window frame, one at a time. Which was an instant inspiration for me, in this pale looking brick home that they decided to live in.

Another interesting aspect was this extended cut, that allowed to see through
the room next to mine, and out its window.
In the second picture, there is a grey tile. That tile is a homegate for the pigeons (the original one was actually up there also). I imagined, what could happen behind the bricks, where they regularly hid. Past the gate is a total pigeon paradise - with great food, a perfectly high place to "empty yourself" and a comfy dust bed for both of them.
