Since I was a child I have admired the connection between humans and the sea, I used to spend days drawing mermaids and fishes on pieces of paper. While surfing on the Internet, I came across the beautiful illustrated stamps of H. Kamerlingh Onnes, especially one showing a little boy on a dolphin. I had an immediate flashback and felt the urge to reinterpret that simple and charming concept, remembering my years as a little boy watching cartoons and dreaming about the creatures of the sea.
