Nancy Sinatra - These Boots Are Made For Walkin' (Cover)
Proposed by my university the exercise of this project was to record, edit and mix audio, therefore I took the opportunity to develop another music production work related. I’ve rearranged the Nancy Sinatra’s song and programmed the drums patterns using a MIDI software. After I recorded the rest of the instruments, and proceeded to mix the multitrack session until I got the final result I was searching for.
This theme was recorded on a digital system (4800Hz; 24 bits), using a DAW, in this case Ableton live 10 and a selection of personal and acquired material at ESMAD. For example, (AD/DA interface - Focusrite Scarlett 18i8, Shure SM58/57, Octava MK 012 kit, among others). Systematizing the steps of the production process of my work, I tried to take advantage of what I had at hand in order to put the taught contents into practice.
I feel fulfilled by completing this music production project, and I’m hoping to repeat or continue this one in the future, applying more new knowledge.
