These illustrations are part of repertoire created for Paytm Travel while exploring illustration styles. Loved combining two passions of mine - travel and art.
Char Minar, Hyderabad, 400-years-old structure was built by Sultan Muhammed Quli Qutb Shah, the 5th Sultan of the illustrious Qutb Shahi dynasty. An inseparable part of the history of Hyderabad, the Sultan built the monument right after shifting his capital from Golkonda to Hyderabad. 
Amir Khusrau said, "Gar firdaus bar-rue zamin ast, hami asto, hamin asto, hamin ast.” If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here.

Dal Lake, a jewel of Srinagar, a vast sheet of water reflecting the carved wooden balconies of the houseboats and the misty peaks of the Pir Panjal mountains. Flotillas of gaily painted shikaras (gondola-like taxi boats) skiff around the lake, transporting goods to market, children to school and travellers to delightful houseboats.

A visit to Sanchi will bring alive the awe you felt as a child as you listened to the tales of Ashoka.The town of Sanchi is synonymous with Buddhist Stupas - hemispherical structures typically containing relics of the Buddha or his followers. The Stupas of Sanchi were constructed on the orders of Emperor Ashoka to preserve and spread the Buddhist philosophy. Sanchi has been protecting these beautiful and sacred architectural wonders, just the way these wonders have been safeguarding ancient history and art of the Mauryan period.
Taj Mahal, architectural marvel is an enduring monument, an expression of timeless love of a husband for his wife.

Tawang, a city in Arunanchal Pradesh, is a place which will flatter you with its natural beauty wrapped in the scent of spirituality.There are many beautiful glacial lakes in and around Tawang with crystal blue waters such as Sela lake, P.T.Tso lake, Sangetser lake, Banggachang lake and many more. These remain frozen in winter while in summer they become haven for migratory birds.
