The primary goal of the Fuga / Budapest Center of Architecture, which is one of the cultural institutions in Budapest, is to bring closer architecture and art. Its wide range of programs includes architectural, artistic and photographic exhibitions and musical concerts.
In the graphic design of the center, it was an important aspect that the logo had
a symbol with a special meaning, which also reflected the word fugue (in hungarian:
fuga). During grouting we use cross spacers, which separate the tiles from each other,
carry in themselves the forward-looking precision and design that is both essential
in architecture, so they are integrated into the logo as an integral part.
I also used the special cross with a positive meaning, which resulted in the motto
“Be + (positive) and love architecture!”. The institution also has a unique spatial font,
Argo, which plays a role in creative communication beyond design graphics.
