"Juni-hitoe" (Karinigu - mo) means "twelve-layer robe", is the special clothing that only very high ranked women in the court, like empress, princess, wives of court officers and high ranked servants could wear.
Kariginu - the costume that nobles wore when they went hunting. Since it enables people to move freely, Kariginu gradually became nobles’ daily casual clothes.
