M I S S E D C O N N E C T I O N S
An editorial illustration I did for the Young Star article "Some missed connections are never meant to meet" by Fiel Estrella. Young Star is the weekly youth publication of the Philippine STAR.
For this illustration, I wanted to make use of two parallel lines in the composition to represent how two people can be close to each other in distance, but their paths never significantly cross and nothing ever happens between them, a missed connection.
Above are my concept sketches, which I created while trying to figure out how to flesh out the idea and composition.
