Spring Fest- The annual cult fest of IIT Kharagpur takes place for 4 days, closest to 26th January. Filled with concerts, pro-shows and competitions, the fest sees a footfall of more than 20 thousand people from all over the country.
I was leading the Spring Fest design team in 2012, and as January is a nice time to distribute calendars, we thought that it would be great to come up with a Spring Fest calendar. Thanks to our paper partner, there were no issues in getting a huge number of posters printed.
The calendar was distributed to all the outstation participants and to all the rooms in IIT Kharagpur. The initiative not only took Spring Fest to all the rooms in IIT Kharagpur, but also let the outstation participants carry a piece of Kharagpur with them.
