RADAR router

Industrial Design
RADAR router 19.03

Background
When you use Wi-Fi through a router, you can frequently experience disconnection in wide space or out of range. This is because buildings have walls that are made of wood or concrete and they disturb or block the internet signal to have a limited range. This results in shadow effect blocking internet signal
Concept

Some people use an aluminum beer can as a signal amplifier to send signal further by cutting and attaching it to the router to concentrate the signal. Based on that idea and satellite antenna which concentrates and amplifies signal, I redesigned a router.

Since people don't want to put it on where is it being seen because of the beauty of the space, I focused on the design so that it is in harmony with interior

To show many information easily, I chose simple design for better perception and I made the vent bigger for better heat management and performance.
Not to spoil the beauty of the space due to many wires, I minimized the number of the wires by combining the power cable and main LAN cable.
