KITE DESIGN
For this project, I was strongly inspired by Nature to produce it. Wood is another natural element, therefore I decided to base myself on it.
First, I researched the basic dimensions of a kite as well as the correct proportions and how big I can make the kite. Then I started trying with several types of wood, that can be used until I found this very light wood skin. Therefore, I intertwined thin layers of wood skin, to create the upper part of the kite. Moreover, not only the upper part is made of wood but also, the structure. My kite is made of several types of wood as well as different shades of brown. This is a pure reflection of the wood in the sky.
