As part of our work on the Russian Railway Museum, we have developed an installation
in the museum’s Future Zone. The installation gives visitors the opportunity to assemble
an imaginary train of the future by using some real or non-existing technologies such as
levitation suspension. Two industrial robotic manipulators assemble 3d-printed components, selected by the user on the interactive interface, into one of the 27 possible train model combinations in front of marveled spectators.
