Mind’s Eye is a group project. I collaborated with the other 3 classmates and played the role of Arduino programmer and costume designer. It is an action based game that rethinks the role of the spectator. We were inspired by a funny tennis video in which players made some funny movements and the audience were laughing at them. We borrowed the concept of interaction between the player and the spectator.

Gameplay
The main player defends himself and audience against enemies using sensors on the controller that require specific gestures. While the audience need to figure out puzzles to get into the next level.
Costume Controller
My classmate Celine Wu and I designed and made the controller suit. We put Velcro on each side so it’s easy to put in and take off. Also, we made symbolic decorations with foams, therefore, the play wouldn’t mess up different functions.
