This was a book I made during my Publication class. I had to document a topic I was interested in and write 10,000 words. I had to take my own images and content and lay it out on a book size keeping it consistent and clean. For my topic, I choose to document the paintings I was making in my Painting II class as well as things I was taught in the class. As I began designing the layouts I wanted to mix fine art and Graphic design together. I added swatches on the left side of the left page as a theme and a color palette and that’s where the title “Molly’s color swatch” came from. This is one of the proudest pieces I’ve ever created.
