A set of posters I designed for the seventh annual "The Power of Print" contest for students. This design contest draws in entries from all over the world. The brief was to create an A2 poster that expresses how print has influenced them and its audiences.
My goal was to show how a simple quote on a red background has an extreme power and immediately becomes a focus of attention. Unconsciously could send our minds back to World War II and the power of propaganda, when Hitler created a flag for the Nazi Party (Red, white, and black are the colours of the flag of the old German Empire).
