Viet Artisans is a school set up in rural Vinh Long province, Vietnam– with an aim to support the disadvantaged women by teaching them crafting skills and sell their products to world-wide customers.

 

The direction is to craft out a light-hearted branding set that reflect the essence of Vietnamese handicrafts. Lotus was chosen as the main motif running from logo to pattern. It grows from swarming mud pond yet blooms with grace and purity, thus falls perfectly well with Viet Artisans's philosophy: to empower disadvantaged women with skills and motivation, so that they can strive their own way out of poverty.
