Meet Nakaro and Shikanai-chan.
Nakaro means "NAIST-KAgaku-RObot". Nakaro is a solar powered red shika deer robot with three spots on its head and a blue bandana around its neck.
Shikanai-chan comes from "SHIKA" and "NAIst". The word "shikanai" also means "have no choice".
Shikanai-chan is a white princess deer that cannot help but wander. She also loves wearing her blue NAIST-logo shaped tiara.
