Michoacán Tamales, is an up and coming tamale company focused on order out/ pre-order only food. The Idea behind it is, you are able to order delicious tamales and enjoy them at the comfort of your home. Be it for a special event, holiday, or just a family dinner. You pre-order a week or so in advance, then your food for the occasion is set and you no longer have to worry. Below you will find a multitude of mock-ups and elements used to present the business idea.
Above we have the main logos, and color schemes for each. With a focus on warm colors to capture the warm temperature of Michoacán. The Mexican state which the company is named after. The line work and type of the logo was chosen with the idea of giving it a very traditional feel. A hand drawn-esque feel to portray a seasoned heritage from the times of old. Worn and weathered, but standing up to the test of time.
In an attempt to move away from earth contaminating plastics, we experimented with a biodegradable box as the method of delivery. With several different logo ideas that we can substitute in, in search of the perfect match. We have incorporated color to represent the three different flavors of tamales. Each box is stamped with a logo matching the corresponding ingredients. Red for pork, yellow for chicken, and green for the meat free tamale.

Online versions of the posters. Each made into an Instagram post. Capturing the business motto and including a call to action.
Lastly we have a working wire frame of the website. Designed to be a no scroll website. Our aim was to keep it very simple and straight to business. Allowing the viewers to find out a little bit more of who we are and what we do. As well as an online ordering portal and a way for them to reach out to the team with any comments/ questions/ or concerns.
