MILLENNIALS: PRESENT TENSE — New Millennial Design

In a series of experimental portraits, this project tries to create a universe that attempts to look simultaneously familiar and repulsive through the rejection of the technical and material excellence, which is frequently demanded by the academia or by the job market. The main challenge proposed by this very project consists in achieving – through trivial photographic processes and basic as well as accessible modelling materials – a result in which technical and financial constraints act as a crucial tool for the work’s final appearance.
