The color scheme of the work is restrained to avoid a retreat toward synthesis, and makes the work not picturesque in the classical sense of the term. Painting is a familiar and almost everyday technique, what is it associated with? How is it perceived? Is it outdated or not? Mute questions that are almost never asked. The contradiction of the works is that they can, at the same time, be both modern and reactionary, depending on the role they have been given, and regardless of the consciousness and initial purpose of the author.
