CELEBRATION OF 20 YEARS OF THE SCOTTISH PARLIAMENT
Colaboration with the jewellery students and creative Printmaking at City Of Glasgow College

We have been asked as part of our course to design a whisky label for 20 years of the Scottish Parliament, the given brief is for a front label back label, but we will display the finished bottle in a wooden box, so a design idea for decorating the inside of the box is a factor as well, but really helps add character to this design project. We will work with our own ideas taken from a brief we received.
We had the chance to visit the Scottish Parliament building to give us a chance to see the design of the building and take inspiration from this.
We have a design collaboration with the jewellery students at the college who have been asked to create the bottle tops for the Whisky bottles, we had the opportunity to meet with the jewellery students to see the work and ideas they had and to help us marry up our ideas.
This is a chance to create an idea from Sketching to drawing or to take a photograph and take it further in a digital design. We will be able to showcase our design ideas.
A contemporary style is what is in the brief, which I find fitting considering the building is very much a contemporary design, but you, can have a style of your own choice and run with that, but forever being mindful of the given brief.
I have added some ideas of my own below in the show case of images some are from sketches and some from photographs, and the use of digital with Photoshop and Adobe illustrator as well.
