THE BRIEF
We were tasked to design an original textile print to visually represent World Hunger. The textile prints were used to manufacture backpacks to raise awareness and funds for the cause.
THE SOLUTION
The World Hunger Prints were designed making use of food iconography that are universally recognised and fall within the various food groups. It took cues from Asian, African and Latin American pattern designs and colours as these are the regions in the world that are mostly affected by this epidemic.
The print incorporates a heart which further enhances the need and devotion for this cause. Something that can only be done from a place of love and generosity.
