Inspired on Mexico´s postrevolutionary period called "Maximato" (1928-1934), Tequila Severo evokes that era in which Mexico experienced a profound political, economical and social transformation, which ended up defining a firm national identity through its own customs as a country.

When creating Severo, we propose to pay homage to that Mexico of recalcitrant nationalism, that knows that tequila is meant to be enjoyed neat in order to fully enjoy Azul Tequilana Weber agave which matures for seven years before being processed as tequila, to then become a deep flavoull “made of one piece" spirit that Mexico appreciates as the original well craed national identity drink.
