New lounge area for Danfoss in Nordborg in an existing building also by SHL.

The project included everything from concept design to detail design, to collaboration with the craftsmen, engineer and client to create a unique space and experience with a very high level of quality.
In order to achieve the amorphous and unique shape of the furniture, while being able to incorporate seating, cooling elements, fridges, etc. I developed a method for working with the geometry which made it easy and organic to control the furniture within a set of rules - and to extract construction drawings from the generated model. This left us with much more time to actually work with the space and the sculptural furniture on its own premises and not as a technical exercise. The result was an open process, where we were able to make the necessary changes even very late in the process, in close collaboration with the craftsmen.

The image on the left was continually updated to communicate with the client about everything from the shape of the different pieces of furniture, to the lose furniture around them, shape of the carpet, fabrics, lamps, etc.

The image on the right is from Danfoss' own Facebook page.
