Made this one for a contest, the client asked for a logo for a Downtempo / Chill Out Music channel called "Unwind", the design had to include a maximum of two colors, text and icon.

Concept: I created a custom font with geometric shapes, mainly curves, to keep it as friendly as possible for the users. The Symbol is a custom letter "U" with a slight decoration to represent a person relaxing, from left to right the person "enters" very stiff, and comes out relaxed.

Typeface: made a custom font based on the shape of the symbol, the letters are interconnected to form a single stroke forming the word "Unwind". Wanted to make it modern, friendly and unique.

Palette: As requested I kept the design in monochromatic, making sure it would stand out against dark backgrounds and images.

Applications: I´m attaching multiple variants in monochromatic and also some explorations with gradients.
