CAMELOT...
When all hope was gone, there still remained fearless heroes who stood firm on their land. They persevered in fighting for an ideal of revitalizing a perished kingdom.
Our Camelot's Research and Visitor Center Project is a recall of the image about Camelot castle and also a reconstruction of the indomitable spirit and glorious past of those heroes.
None of historians and archaeologists knew exactly the shape of the castle. Therefore, CRVC is modeled as the remained fragments of the castle, with undefined shape.
Like the part of the city wall’s perimeter is now exposed from grass, the whole remains of the castle should be placed in a similar state: they are not intact, they are rising from the grass of the hill, and they encourage and stimulate visitor’s imagination about their image in the past.
With this form, the works will not look like a modern product, but look like something born out by history, as if it had been there for a long time. And only until now, mysterious miracles in legends makes the whole rest of it upraise from the ground, to honor its immortal past.
That is also the purpose our Camelot Research and Visitor Center aims to: "What remains is what needs preserved and honored."
Camelot...
