Project "INDUCTION'

                           for the Saint-Gobain Multi Comfort House Students Contest 2019 in Milan

Milano is a city that needs changes and my project is one of the steps to them. Many of you have heard the phrase "if you want to change the world-start with yourself.". General changes begin when each part will change, so there will be a process of induction, which can be represented as a Domino effect. Each of the dominoes is a part of the concept. To change the environment, you need to change its inhabitants whithout creating limits.  

The project directs them towards self-creation and responsibility for the environment, where all the components will start the INDUCTION.

Two types of houses: the nest- house and house with variable number of storeys.

There is a center for coworking in the mid of the plot A .It is lowered by 2 meters and looks like an  Italian courtyard, where residents can hold meetings and spend their leisure time.

The residents will be given the opportunity to have their own front garden, where they can grow vegetables and fruits. These front gardens are located in the yard with greenhouses and irrigation channels, or on the terraces of houses. Collected organic waste can be used as fertilizer.

The problem of constant noise is solved by lowering the relief by 3 meters towards the metro station and the installation of a noise shield with vertical landscaping, gray water storage and dB-to-energy converters.

There is a complex with commerce and social services on the plot C. It includes an educational and medical center and a hostel for tourists. There is a market square is in front of the complex. Special modules-transformers allow you to organize a place for sale or a place to relax.The traditional Italian atrium of the complex is shaded thanks to the folding canopy.

Renovation of the old residential houses 

In the renovation process, the windows will be replaced by a window module, which includes a technical box under the windowsill. It houses extra functions and fire-fighting devices. The wiring is fixed on the outer wall under the insulation panel and brought into the building through the cutouts in the box. System is supplied from the factory and the communications installation is excluded. The technical box is easy to maintain and the installation is similar to the standard window. Electricity elements are connected to solar panels

The system works thanks to the cycle of actions that are chosen by the inhabitants. Only they can decide what kind of world they would like to live in, and only they can create this unique atmosphere. You сan say that it is difficult? No! Just make the first step - start the induction.
