Summer sports and music public festival brand
We have developed a brand positioning and visual language for "Open Streets", a Russian summer sports and music public festival based in Moscow.
The mission of the brand is to bring people together during the summer seasons and make all the citizens feel included in the city's life.
We've developed 3 different design routes and the client chose the one called "Kaleidoscope". The concept is about how, getting together, during a healthycollective activity, people create something new, uniting the imagination and expanding ideas about human capabilities.
The solar base of kaleidoscopic patterns conveys a sense of harmonyand fullness of feelings, and elements of vintage graphics remind of the best achievements of Soviet sport and social structure.
While creating the illustrations we were inspired by Aleksandr Deyneka, one of the most important Russian modernist figurative painters of the first half of the 20th century.
