Class assignment: To create a visually engaging sequence of pages to convey the spirit and meaning of “Incomplete Manifesto for Growth” by Bruce Mau.
Design justification for the cover:
The Manifesto cover was created using the 2019 design trend of "Inked" style, characterized by hand painted brush strokes, an element that adds humanity, energy and movement to designs. The cover also includes some of the growing trends from 2020 like 1890's ornate lettering style, paper cut and mixed media design.
