Social Senses of Emergency

Social Senses of Emergency
Gaung Bandung ITB - Architecture Competition
Today, it can be found that millennials are more passive in social life, due to technology development such as smartphones or social media. Examples that can be seen when there are natural disaster or artificial disaster, most of them can only be the witnesses in cyberspace.
Basically, all humans have a good side, but sometimes they don't know where they could distribute their help, in the end the donation is only wishful, and only can be done by only showing sympathy in social media such as using #prayfor and #keepstrong hashings, helping spread information about fundraising through cyberspace without ascertaining whether the informations are hoax. As a result, many fake accounts that use this moment to collect funds from netizens who are careless, and there was fraud under the guise of donations which is unfortunately happen.
Despite the cyberspace social life are very effective in spreading information, not all human has the same physical ability to interact through social media. Humans have five main senses that function to interact and feel the stimulation of environment sensation around them. But some humans are not perfect, some humans have impaired vision, hearing, and speaking.

To eliminate the limits of interaction (social inclusion) between humans] we designed a facility that can respond to three human senses. The intended sense is vision, smell and touch. With these 3 senses we choose responsive media by changing the color of polycarbonate lighting panel from blue to red, spreading fragrances from burned candles to indicate a disaster has been going on. But most importantly to gain concrete actions by gathering people power in overcoming the problem.
This building comes with an area of 410 sqm with an area of 1388.5 sqm as one of the symbols of humanity in which social inclusion is expected, because all people certainly want to play a role, including in terms of donations. This building can be accessed by old, young, "normal, disabled people, men and women, from students to office workers.
The idea of creating the mass composition of the building was inspired by the movement of flipping coin. The flipping coin could be the icon of sustainable economic donation for charity.
