"La Batalla de las Flores" is a collaboration with Cervezas Alhambra for the project Murcia Ilustra. Four different illustrators worked on the history and traditions of our hometown, Murcia. La Batalla de las Flores/ The Battle of the Flowers is an old spring festival where people threw flowers at each other in the streets. The flowers were grown in my grandparents orchard, making me feel a special connection with the festival.
