The Roads We Tripped On

You'll see the roads as they come. Keep going.
The only tunnel we came across, it was on our way to Singtam.
What yells North-East the most- the prayer flags.
The vertical flag posts are used to demarcate local residences amidst the valleys and their sharps turns. The houses are shadowed by these flags, down in the valley.
One vehicle at a time.
Asia's 2nd high-altitude based suspension bridge. Singshore Bridge, Pelling, India.

A 5 long hours of riding through some rough roads of valleys in Sikkim. Riding the dusty landslid roads on a RE 350 on the way to Pelling from Gangtok. The repair work of the landslides made the road narrower for vehicles to pass both ways. Us being on the valley-side sometimes made me pray for life while we rode on muddy, pebbly broken roads. On the other hand the outer valley roads were smooth enough for us to enjoy sweet scenery of settlements in the valley.
