Truly a sad mood. It´s very cold and I have to wait. So I decided to go around and get involved in the
Everyone is for himself, it is very quiet. Except for an old married couple, which debated before the Post Office about stamps. Here are a lot of old people. I will meet them later again. They stop at a bank and have a rest. I look at them for a while until they go their way. They are very affectionately to each other. One help the other to set up the heavy backpacks. Maybe they are one of those, who lived here for a long time and like it here.
I walk to the skate park. Again an older couple who observes a child, or their old apartment in the block behind me? It´s possible that they did not even see the house under the banner that is advertising the house for sale. The houses are empty, except for the pigeons - the new inhabitants. In the largest, in the GDR built residential block (the "Zehner_Block"), lived up to 2500 people. Since 1990, the number of inhabitants has decreased significantly. Because of this vacancy some apartment buildings were demolished. At the same time, however, also renovated.
"Block 009" has a "Störkraft" graffiti, the name of a neo-nazi band. The district has now become a social trouble hotspot. The residential blocks were numbered, instead of becoming street names. On 15 July 1964, the first stone was set on the school fundament "First POS". The architectural style of this school stood out from the 28 other schools. The other schools has "safe nuclear" bunker with ventilation systems in the basement and concrete slabs folding stock (for windows) on the side.
It´s not so socialistic, as you think. Or stands the "K" from "KIK" for "Kombinat"? I went to kebab shop. In the bottom of the block is enough space for a huge LCD TV and a very well-equipped dining area. Kebab, cola and goods that are waiting for slow clients. Children's shoes - but kids are very rarely here. Sobering, but nothing seems strange to me. People who have grown up in buildings made from prefabricated slabs, are not very deterrent by it. No matter how many years going by.
I'm waiting at a traffic light. I am picked. Only a few streets laters some advertisings are remembering again the capitalistic plutocracy.

Wirklich eine trübe Stimmung. Es ist denkbar kalt und ich habe zu warten. So entschloss ich mich eine Runde zu laufen und mich auf die bedrückende Atmosphäre einzulassen.
Am 17. September 1963 beschloss das Politbüro der SED den Aufbau der „Chemiearbeiterstadt“. Geplant war eine Ansiedlung von Arbeitskräften in der Nähe zu den Chemiestandorten Buna-Schkopau und Leuna. Ich scheitere beim Versuch mir eine lebende Arbeiterstadt vorzustellen, da es hier mehr als ruhig zugeht.
Jeder ist für sich, es ist sehr still. Ausgenommen eines alten Ehepaares, welches vor der Post über Briefmarken debattiert. Alte Menschen sind hier viel. Ich treffe sie später nochmal. Sie machen an einer Bank halt und ruhen sich aus. Ich sehe ihnen eine Weile zu bis sie wieder weiter ziehen. Sie gehen sehr liebevoll miteinander um und helfen sich gegenseitig die schweren Rücksäcke aufzusetzen. Eventuell sind sie jene von damaligen Erstmietern, die noch recht gerne hier wohnen.
Ich laufe zum Skate Park. Wieder ein älteres Pärchen, welches ein Kind beobachtet, oder ihre alte Wohnung im Block hinter mir? Möglich, dass sie die Wohnung auch gar nicht sehen unter dem Banner, der auf einen Verkauf hinweist. Die Häuser sind leer, bis auf die Tauben - die neuen Bewohner. Im größten, in der DDR gebauten Wohnblock (der "Zehner_Block"), wohnten bis zu 2500 Menschen. Seit 1990 ist die Einwohneranzahl insgesamt deutlich gesunken. Aufgrund dieses Leerstandes wurden einige Wohnblocks abgerissen. Gleichzeitig wird jedoch auch saniert.
Den "Block 009" hat jemand mit "Störkraft" beschriftet. Der Stadtteil hat sich nunmehr zu einem sozialen Brennpunkt entwickelt. Die Eingänge der Wohnblöcke wurden damals, anstatt von Straßennamen, durchnummeriert. Am 15. Juli 1964 wurde der Grundstein auf dem Gelände der Schule „Erste POS“ gelegt. Der Baustil dieser Schule hob sich von den insgesamt 28 anderen Schulen ab. Diese besaßen "atomsichere" Bunker mit Lüftungsanlagen im Keller und anklappbaren Betonplatten (für die Fenster) an der Seite.
So ganz sozialistisch ist es dann doch nicht hier. Oder steht das "K" von "KIK" für Kombinat? Der Hunger schleift mich zum Dönerladen. Unten im Block ist genug Platz für einen riesigen LCD-Fernseher und einer ausgesprochen gut eingerichteten Essecke. Döner, Cola und Waren, die auf schleppende Kundschaft warten. Kinderschuhe - nur trifft man hier sehr selten auf Kinder. Ernüchternd, doch befremdlich wirkt hier nichts auf mich. Menschen, die in der Platte groß geworden sind, werden es schwer haben sie als abschreckend zu empfinden. Egal wie viel Jahre vergehen mögen.
Ich warte an einer Ampel, gleich werde ich abgeholt. Schon ein paar Haltestellen weiter blendet wieder die kapitalistische Plutokratie.
