Dyad Mag: What's visual about music?

Music Magazine

In a world focused on visual communication, the image becomes an inseparable element of almost every live music performance.
In the world of music we are looking for an excuse to talk about faith, art, science and any other field that visually enriches our reception and allows us to feel the rhythms of the world with more than one sense.

The duality of the theme is reflected in the design. Two covers were designed for the magazine (Aleksandra Pawłowska, Piotr Dudziński); the first is a journey into the past in search of early attempts to visualise music and a tribute to cultures in which sound and dance accompany the experience of spirituality and ritual.
If you ever wondered how to prepare the visual setting of a music festival with mapping, or how contemporary musicians use virtual reality in creating their public image - flip the magazine over and open it again.
