With the help of typography and a personalized emotive key, the poster tries to visualize my thoughts, emotional state and mental frame over the years and how therapy has made a difference. I explored visual translations of emotional and psychological feelings and how they react together in a certain situation. The intricacy of the design hopes to illustrate the complexity of our thoughts and emotions with respect to experiences and events we go through.

Project done under the guidance of Jennifer Cole Phillips as part of the course Graduate Typography at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore.

Each bubble represents a certain event or trigger in my life. Symbols of positive and negative emotions, along with bodily sensations, overlap each other as they often do in real life. These emotions and sensations are visualised as the key at the bottom of the poster keeping in mind their . The bigger outer bubbles denote the impact and influence that particular event had in my life.

This project was to document these events, feelings and emotions and reflect on how therapy has made an impact on how I approach situations and cope with distress.
