Torino Football Club commonly referred to as Torino or simply Toro, is an Italian professional football club based in Turin, Piedmont.
Football and design are two passions of mine and I combine the both whenever I'm able to; I recognised lately a trend in football clubs (such as Barcelona, Athletico Madrid, Juventus) “modernising” their visual identities. So, I took it upon myself to develop and refresh the Torino FC Logo making the 'Bull' distinguishable and fine-tune the badge to conform to better design protocol (Grids and Golden Ratio).
The technique for creating the bull was a quick pencil to paper, reworking the silhouette to gain a majestic and proud stance.
Sketched in the musculature forms, features and lighting via Photoshop and simplifying the characteristics through Illustrator using grids and golden ratio.
Jumping back and fourth until I was satisfied.
