This project was made for university purposes, assigning students to design a book cover and it’s pagination.
2 Contos (2 Tales) is a book that gathers two short stories written by the portuguese poet and writer Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, O Silêncio (Silence) and História da Gata Borralheira (roughly translating to The Story of Cinderella).
The book cover illustrations were based on key elements featured in both stories, as well as the dark colors, used to represent the obscurity of the said stories, because none had a happy ending.
