LEICA : PORTRAIT CAMERA
This concept camera for the company Leica is a hommage to Hasselblad cameras mainly used by professional photographers for shooting fashion or portraits.
The most striking difference to standard cameras are the proportions and the positioning of the display. You will not find it as usually on the back of the camera, but sitting on top of it. This gives the photographer the opportunity to shoot from much lower positions and create a unique style of images. The connection to his model also changes due to the fact that he is not hiding himself behind of the camera.
When it comes to materials and manufacturing, Leica always sets the benchmark very high. Case parts milled out of solid aluminum create a durable, yet light product. The shape is reduced to a minimum and made up out of geometric elements that gives the design a classic touch, supporting the heritage of Leica. The surfaces around the holding area is covered with genuine leather, giving the user a comfortable feeling while using it.
