Death comes w/ time and leaves without notice. Death is inevitable not polite. I hear it can lead you to everlasting life...but you have to die to find out. For as macabre as this may sound, let me say, I believe energy never dies. Physicists agree.

Recently, Graffiti Culture lost a legend in the form of Phase 2.

Lonny Woods inspired so many of us to treat the wastelands we were left to languish in into living canvases that fertilized the minds of the downtrodden and energized the voiceless to speak through typography, character development, illustration and color concept. Sounds like Graphic Design, right? It is...but we were called vandals...b/c we wrote on the pavement covering paradise. We did not listen to the system. We simply soaked up the wisdom and learned at the feet of Elders of which Phase 2 was prominent, respected and beloved.

Sooo...in a time where Street Artists are revered and Graf artists are still vilified, I'm rocking w/ the source not the after thoughts. Still, I don't disrespect the Now w/ the Then b/c I know the original energy never died. It just continually goes through phases...
