OCAD U - Final Draping Assignment
The neckline was modelled after a common cut for dresses seen in the Mod Movement. Lightweight wool was used for the dress as well as the bias. Because of the good quality of the material chosen, the dress boasts longevity, elegance and class. The black wool and streamline silhouette can transcend each season when paired with the correct footwear and accessories. This was the notion of the mod era teens, investing in a classic and good pieces to fill their wardrobes. The armholes and neck are trimmed with bias made from the excess fabric.
