عندما ترجع بيروت التي نعرفها مثلما ترجع للدار الحمامه

سوف نرمي في مياه البحر

أوراق السفر وسنستأجر كرسيين في بيت القمر

وسنقضي الوقت،  في زرع الشجرة

آه.. يا بيروت كم أتعبنا هذا السفر

Poster Design || Beirut 

University Project - 

A series of three posters that graphically represent the chaotic state of Beirut as told by the Lebanese poet Nizar Kabani. 

The poem is dissected into three states.

- The first poster represents Beirut's chaotic state and instability, using only black and white to highlight the seriousness of the situation. 

- The second poster represents the period rebuilding were we start to see a glimpse of hope with the introduction of the color blue and we notice the reformation of letters to say Beirut differently. 

- While the third poster represents the Beirut that he dreams of, the Beirut that had freed itself from the past. A Beirut filled with hope. Therefore, we notice that graphically all of what remained is the new forms of Beirut in blue.
