Art Yard Sale started as a unique weekend art fair based in Warsaw, Poland. After 5 years of operating the Art Yard Sale initiative has an impressive track-record and weaves together all aspects of contemporary art: graphics, illustration, painting, photography,
design and fashion. Art Yard Sale has become a strong independent platform for artists, designers and their audience – to meet, share their experience and buy art. The Art Yard Sale provides a unique opportunity to meet and talk with designers as well as buy works by Poland’s most talented artists – both young talent and high-calibre names in the art scene.

„We want the Art Yard Sale to – and long last – pin Warsaw on the artist map of Europe.
We don’t want people to only buy art. We want them to participate.”


The communication project for Art Yard Sale's Christmas edition was based on the X motive used to promote the previous editions. It seemed to be the appropriate way to communicate AYS's collaboration with artists. In addition the X was an element that bound all the elements together literally and metaphorically as we turned it into a bow tied around a gift box.
