I really wanted to start to see what kind of movement and motion I could imply with the logo.

The client had expressed the use of a heart and brain as a mark from the start, which was a bit interesting, along with the use of the exclamation point.

After exploring the logo in various forms, I came across this one as the proposed logo that would give a fresh face to the CDC's program.
