This is both fan art for the game, Guild Wars 2, and a gift for my husband. This illustration is of his character from the game, which is of a species of people known as Charr. 

The character shown here is a warrior. This gave the perfect opportunity to draw the character's armor and learn how to colour it accordingly. Much experimenting was done here, with the goal to not get into too much detail in highlight/shading and instead focus on texture and colour.
