Food Not Bombs Budapest
Every Saturday the volunteers of Food Not Bombs Budapest arrive to the Hungarian capital's Great Market Hall around closing time to gather leftover groceries that otherwise would be thrown out. The food is then taken to group's nearby HQ where on Sunday meals are prepared and portioned by the volunteers. Dozens of homeless and socially deprived gather on Boráros square on Sunday afternoons, where they are served freshly cooked vegetarian meals by the volunteers.
