Visual poetry of space - Poznań

The imperial castle
I was a dark, murky, depressing July morning. (5 am) Usually menacing and brute castle seemed to be even more hard. The forged-stone façade perforated with regular holes more than 100 years ago, played silently on the wind – it is a music score composed with the Schwechten hand, the hand of architect with brain flatted with the Neo-Romanesque dagger of William II…….
Focusing on the calculation of the windows, I imagined the Poznań in the situation when Hitler won the war. In that it would be an actual his residence. What would happen to Poznan’s urban planning? What would happen to Stubben ring and plan of David Gilly? In what key would play Poznań city? Would I still see Nazi flags and tenants would speak in German?
To Castle’s façade stranded in opposition the monument of the Katyń’s genocide. Undoubtedly it was singing the death scream of the polish officers killed by the Russian soldiers. Between the parts there was possible to hear the joyful buzzer of the future architecture students.

The fountain of freedom
2100 – feel the dark smell of neoclassical architecture and white XXI technology. Among the weak brightness of the soc-realism tenements spatters the dazzling, winged energy of the polish uncouth freedom. People freeze in the movement, something changed, but they do not see the darkness of the history, that is hidden the recesses of the street.  This lightness is a cannon ball in the body of the Edward Raczyński, the patron of this place.
All Saints' church
the story of this place is hidden in your imagination, discover it!
