It's sad and beautiful what another closed mind can push to do. I wrote a simple email to a state institution, the Museum of Modern Art, I never received a response. It was a simple question about the dimensions of a temporary building, replacing the construction of the targeted museum in the centre of Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
This situation, the temporal nature of the institution, the lack of a response, further emphasized my conviction of how ephemeral this is. Comments under my works reinforce the need to disconnect from the sense of the need to institutionalize, also artistic works. This ennoblement, apart from the fact of communing with the work, hapticism, in contact with the smartphone - becomes trivial, however.
I read on Instagram: 'Is that real? If so...is amazing'
- what means 'real' if the experience is always a trough smartphone? The 'real' become thought about 'real'. So everything is real, even your thought, and we know it from centuries, the myth still exists, besides Nobelist Mrs Olga Tokarczuk thought in another way.
