The PWLF is an annual winter light festival based in Portland, Oregon. Each year has been presented by the local nonprofit Willamette Light Brigade and powered by Portland General Electric. The festival is always open to the public and free to attend.

My Role
Art direction including layout design and iconography of festival guide maps for participants to create their customized tour of the event. Art zone maps include Portland City Center, West Riverfront, East-side Esplanade and PSU Campus. All maps were created in Adobe Illustrator.

All maps were created in multiple formats for web, print and interactive info kiosks. This was the first year the festival featured such a wide variety of user-focused maps to help identify and interact with art.
Custom icons showcase key points in the city for visitors to explore at the festival on website and in accompanying catalogue.
